What is … a Graph Associahedron?

This page hosts information on Carsten Lange's talk "What is … a Graph Associahedron?" at the "What is …?" seminar. The talk will take place on Friday, February 5, 12:30pm at the BMS Loft in Urania. This talk will help you better understand the BMS Friday talk by Victor Buchstaber, which will start at 2pm.

Abstract

Graph associahedra are a special breed of polytopes but appear in many different branches of mathematics. We start with basic definitions of a convex polytope, see many examples and explore some fundamental properties.
