Informationen zum abgeschalteten Dienst "luftbruecke.inf.fu-berlin.de"

Hintergrund Diensteinstellung "Luftbrücke"

  • Der VPN-Dienst "luftbrücke" wurde am 19.10.2007 eingestellt.
  • Er diente für Virtual Private Network-Verbindungen von zuhause, fremden Universitäten und aus dem Funknetz heraus.
  • Das alte System war den aktuellen Anforderungen im Bezug auf Skalierbarkeit, ein zentrales Accountsystem sowie neue, künftige VPN-Zugangsarten nicht mehr gewachsen.
  • Aufgrund von Hardwareschäden musste der Server "Luftbruecke" leider schneller als ursprünglich geplant abgeschaltet werden.

Ersatz für "Luftbrücke"

  • Der neue VPN-Server heißt vpn.mi.fu-berlin.de.
  • Details, Zugangsinformationen und Anleitungen stellen wir unter CollectionFunkVPN bereit.
