Ziel: Das Ziel der Veranstaltung ist das Kennenlernen grundlegender mathematischer und algorithmischer Konzepte im Bereich der Modellierung, Simulation und Analyse molekularer Netzwerke im Rahmen der algorithmischen Systembiologie. Die Studierenden lernen eine biologische oder medizinische Fragestellung zu analysieren, zu gegebenen Daten einen passenden Modellierungsansatz auszuwählen und umzusetzen, sowie die Ergebnisse zu beurteilen und zu kommunizieren.

Inhalte: Es werden vertieft Themen aus folgenden Gebieten behandelt:
- Modellierung biochemischer Netzwerke mit gewöhnlichen Differentialgleichungen
- Diskrete Modellierung regulatorischer Netzwerke
- Constraintbasierte Modellierung metabolischer Netzwerke
- Stochastische und hybride Modellierung
