The conference will be held from 8th to 10th of September 2021 in a hybrid format. We are happy to confirm that all our invited speakers are available at this new date.

Information

PhDs in Logic is an annual graduate conference organized by graduate students. This interdisciplinary conference welcomes contributions to various topics in mathematical logic, philosophical logic, and logic in computer science. It involves tutorials by established researchers as well as short (20-25 minutes) presentations by PhD students, master students and first-year postdocs on their research.

The 12th edition of PhDs in Logic will take place on September 8 - 10, 2021 at the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, and virtually.

Earlier editions of the event took place in Ghent (2009,2012), Tilburg (2010), Brussels (2011), Munich (2013), Utrecht (2014), Vienna (2015), Darmstadt (2016), Bochum (2017), Prague (2018) and Bern (2019).

Funding

This workshop is funded by the Einstein Foundation Berlin in the framework of the Einstein Center for Topic Development (Topical Development Laboratory) as part of the DFG Excellence Cluster MATH+.

ASL offers modest student travel awards to attend ASL meetings and ASL-sponsored meetings. Students must be members of the ASL in order to apply. Applications are handled by the conference organisers directly. Contact us by 16th July stating how much your travels will cost and whether you have any other source of funding available.
