PhDs in Logic is an annual graduate conference organized by graduate students. This interdisciplinary conference welcomes contributions to various topics in mathematical logic, philosophical logic, and logic in computer science. It involves tutorials by established researchers as well as short (20-25 minutes) presentations by PhD students, master students and first-year postdocs on their research.

The 12th edition of PhDs in Logic will take place at the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, from April 27th to 29th, 2020.

Earlier editions of the event took place in Ghent (2009,2012), Tilburg (2010), Brussels (2011), Munich (2013), Utrecht (2014), Vienna (2015), Darmstadt (2016), Bochum (2017), Prague (2018) and Bern (2019).

This workshop is funded by the Einstein Foundation Berlin in the framework of the Einstein Center for Topic Development (Topical Development Laboratory) as part of the DFG Excellence Cluster MATH+.

ASL offers modest student travel awards to attend ASL meetings and ASL-sponsored meetings. Students must be members of the ASL in order to apply. Applications must be received three months prior to the start of the meeting. More information
