Research interests

(Note that I'm not with the university anymore.)

I've been mainly concerned with studying errors during software development, their causes and possibilities of prevention. Please see the special page related to this research topic. As a means to studying developer behavior, I'm still member of a related software development project. It is based on the concept of "micro-process". Please see the research page on micro-processes and my Ph.D. thesis proposal for more information.

Other interests included
  • Quality assurance in general
  • Usability issues
  • Software archaeology, i.e. mining process and product data
