In 2021, she completed her master's degree in Neuro-Cognitive Psychology at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) in Munich and has worked on a variety of projects dealing with digital interventions in healthcare (e.g., surgical teaching, teleCOVID) and the use of smartphones for behavioral monitoring (e.g., sleep diary study).
Since September 2022, she has been a PhD student at the LBI-DHP, focusing on cardiovascular disease prevention and the use of digital tools for long-term adherence to physical activity (PA). Her role is mainly concerned with understanding patients' motivation behind sustained PA and understanding patients' and healthcare providers' attitudes toward digital health tools. In 2023, she won 2nd place with her team, Heart2Heart, in a Digital Health Idea Competition where she co-designed an app prototype with UK heart patients using social support to foster PA.
