Abstract
Visualisation of urban data offers new ways to understand the intangible dynamics of our cities. However, relying on institutional or social media data to produce knowledge about urban space carries the risk of misrepresentation and oversimplification. Drawing on Critical Data Studies, I conducted a case study to work towards a multi-perspective view on the production of local knowledge. In this presentation, I want to discuss the challenges of collecting, visualising and engaging with urban data and its genesis throughout the case study.
