Digital Science Match
News from Nov 09, 2015
We were invited to the first Digital Science Match in Berlin, which took place at Kosmos on the 7th of October 2015. The Digital Science Match is a new format created by Tagesspiegel and Die Zeit. Researchers talked about their current research in the area of "digital everything" within three minutes. Over 100 researchers from Berlin and Brandenburg followed this invitation and over 1,250 guests were listening. We were there!
Prof. Claudia Müller-Birn, even though 1,000 km far away, contributed a video presentation talking about the research ongoing at HCC.lab: How can insights on Peer Production Communities, like Wikidata, can help to develop better interaction designs for software?

The digital science match included a lot of interesting and inspiring presentations from the Berlin/Brandenburg research community. There were four sessions related to the following topics: big data, digital infrastructure, Industry 4.0, AI, Digital Humanities, and e- Health & Commerce.
Besides the contribution from our research group twelve other colleagues from Freie Universität Berlin have taken this opportunity to present our work. Super!
