Welcome to the Numerical Analysis of Partial Differential Equations research group!
The research group Numerical Analysis of Partial Differential Equations concentrates on the development, analysis, and implementation of numerical methods for partial differential equations involving, e.g., smooth or non-smooth nonlinearities, singularities, uncertain data or multiple scales. Our research involves variational methods, geometric analysis, adaptive finite elements, and subspace decomposition. Current applications include topics from biomechanics, life sciences, material sciences, and geosciences.
