The position of the student advisory service for computer science is currently vacant. It is not yet possible to predict when it will be staffed again.

E-mail inquiries will be processed by the Mentoring-Computer Science Team as best as possible. However, a timely and complete response cannot be guaranteed, as the requests are only worked on in addition to the main tasks.

According to the Informtik Bachelor and Master study regulations, the following also applies (§4):

(1) General academic advising is provided by the Central Office of Academic Advising and Psychological Counseling at Freie Universität Berlin.

(2) Academic advising and course advising are provided by the professors of the Institute of Computer Science of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of Freie Universität Berlin in regular office hours.

(3) Each student is assigned a personal study advisor from among the full-time professors. This assignment is announced by the chairperson of the examination board in an appropriate manner.
