Mentoring
The mentoring program at the Department for Mathematics and Computer Science is aimed primarily at German-speaking bachelor students in the introductory phase and those who want to become one. The program accompany them through the different stages of studying with extracurricular events for building hard- and soft skills and additional support offerings. That is why all mentoring events are usually in German. But of course we can also speak English and wish to support international students of our department.
The offerings and events are mainly planned and conducted by the mentors themselves. The current program can be found in Whiteboard, just sign up in the course 19000546 Mentoring for the current semester so you can get all recent informations! (Choose "Fachbereichsbezogen" for Department if the course does not show up). A registration for the events is not necessary most of the time. If it is, it will be stated explicitly. Just come by if you're interested in the topic and have the time!
If you have questions, just write us or come to our office hours!
