SCCS-Days from 10th until 12th October, 2016
The first retreat of CRC 1114 „Scaling Cascades of Complex Systems“ took place in Falkenrehde near Ketzin, between Potsdam and Nauen. More than 60 PIs, PostDocs, PhD students and researchers associated with CRC 1114 participated in the SCCS Days and seized the opportunity for exchanging ideas relevant to the CRC 1114 research.
The program comprised project presentations which were reviewed by interdisciplinary groups of CRC 1114 members. In so doing also PostDocs and PhD students gained experience in evaluating the research done thus far and were thus actively involved in the definition of the next project goals. A poster session allowed for extensive and lively discussions as well as scientific exchange during the poster presentation. Guest lectures and the first CRC 1114 Crossover Marketplace completed the program and showed further opportunities of internal and external cooperations.
Thanks to all the participants who made the SCCS Days such a rich experience!
