Girls' Day

The nationwide Girls' Day has been held at the Free University since 2002. In various workshops, students can conduct their own experiments, discuss scientific results, and learn about the work of important researchers. Our extensive workshop offer provides the opportunity to become active yourself and get to know the everyday life of a university together with other participants.

SommerUNI

Are you at least in 10th grade and want to get a taste of university life during the last two weeks of the Berlin summer vacation? Then come to our SummerUNI! There you can discover the MINT subjects (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, technology), participate in workshops, listen to exciting lectures from current research, and learn about our degree programs. You can find the content, schedule, and important information on registration here (courses will be held in German):

Long Night of Sciences

Celebrate the Long Night of Science in Berlin with us! Every year, on a day in early summer, the doors of 12 buildings on the Dahlem campus are open from 5 to 12 pm. More than 200 fascinating projects for young and old showcase the diversity at the Free University. Experience the latest research up close-from experiments to interactive hands-on activities.
