The Computer Science building is not right at the road. It can be accessed by feet, however, from Takustrasse, Arnimallee and Altensteinstrasse. Handicapped persons and transportation services use the bell in front of the barred driveways (to be opened automatically during office hours) at Takustrasse 9 or Altensteinstaße 23.
Public transport
You need a valid ticket 'Berlin ABC' from Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), or a ticket 'Berlin AB' from all railway stations. Depending on your needs, you can buy a day ticket (Tageskarte) ABC or AB valid for 24 hours. All tickets are valid on U-Bahn trains, S-Bahn trains, trams (MetroTram/Straßenbahn), buses / MetroBuses, and regional trains (RE / RB) of the Deutsche Bahn (DB) within your valid zone (AB or ABC).
The underground station Dahlem-Dorf, line U3, is in some 8 minutes walking distance. Bus stops Arnimallee (Bus X83) and Limonenstraße (Bus 101) are in 4 minutes walking distance. The Related Links provide city maps and details on public transport.

- Buy a ticket for zone Berlin ABC (at ticket machine, or online).

From Railway Stations

- Find your route to U Dahlem-Dorf (line U3), and follow the detailed partial campus map (you are at the blue "U" in the top left corner).
From Hauptbahnhof (central railway station)
- Take any westbound S-Bahn train.
- Get off after six stations, at Westkreuz.
- Take any southeastbound S-Bahn train (anticlockwise direction).
- Get off after three stations, at Heidelberger Platz.
- Move to the subway terminal, take U-Bahn U3 southbound (Krumme Lanke).
- Get off at Dahlem-Dorf.

- Estimated travel time is 50 minutes from Hauptbahnhof.
From railway stations Friedrichstraße and Gesundbrunnen
- Take S-Bahn S1 southbound, direction Wannsee/Potsdam Hbf.

From railway station Ostbahnhof
- Take any southeastbound S-Bahn train.
- Get off after one stop, at Warschauer Straße.
