19229411 Seminar on Stochastics "Random Schrödinger Operators"

Summer Term 2024

Lecturer: Dr. Immanuel Zachhuber

  • Time and place: Thursday, 2:15pm--3:45pm, in SR 025/026, Arnimallee 6.

If you want to participate, please write an email to immanuel.zachhuber@fu-berlin.de

Prerequisites:  In order to take part it is important to have some knowledge on stochastic analysis (e.g. Stochastics III) and functional analysis although some talks will be more introductory and require less in background knowledge.
Target group:  Master students and BMS students.

Contents: We will largely follow the lecture notes “An Invitation to Random Schrödinger operators".

Depending on the number of participants, we might include extended discussions on topics like the spectral theory of unbounded operators, Anderson localisation, physical (Quantum Mechanical) interpretation amongst others.
