Analyzing and protecting the Internet backbone
Peeroskop
The Internet represents crucial communications infrastructure for almost every part of the country. However, the backbone of the Internet—pathway handling using BGP (Border Gateway Patrol)—is largely unprotected against configuration errors and manipulation. Peeroskop scans and secures Internet connections. The trade fair exhibit will provide demonstrational examples of an Internet attack and tools for defending against it. These include interactive forensic error analyses as well as new standards for securing Internet connections (RPKI).
