Guest talk: Jason A. Tran

Jason will talk about recent activities of the Autonomous Networks Research Group (ANRG) at the University of Southern California (USC), with a special focus on the design of a new robotics wireless network testbed.

We will also discuss how RIOT can help in this context.

Jason A. Tran is currently a second-year Ph.D. student in the Autonomous Networks Research Group (ANRG) at the University of Southern California (USC). His advisor is Professor Bhaskar Krishnamachari. Prior to USC, he earned his M.S. (2012) in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and his B.S. (2010) in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). He is currently a Member of the Technical Staff at the Aerospace Corporation. Prior to the Aerospace Corp., he held internships at Qualcomm and Boeing. His current research interests broadly lie in the design, analysis, and optimization of algorithms and protocols for wireless networks.
