Matthias Wählisch talks about "Internet measurements for a more secure Internet" at School of Computing, KAIST.

The Internet is a critical communication infrastructure.  However, core protocols are surprisingly insecure, which lead to several suggestions for improvements.  In this talk, we report about two measurement studies in the context of Internet security.  First, we will focus on the control plane and present a methodology and results to detect autonomous systems that deploy RPKI prefix origin validation.  Second, we will reveal traffic of common industrial control protocols, which we measured at Internet exchange points and Internet service providers.
