We are looking for support in the field of Open Science in the DFG-funded project GFBio (German Federation for Biological Data). The aim is to facilitate the use of terminologies by non-technical experts in their data-based research work. The focus is on the design, implementation and evaluation of semi-automated workflows in the field of data annotation and the recommendation of concepts.

Knowledge of or interest in one or more of the following areas: Human-Computer-Interaction, Data Mining, Knowledge Engineering and Semantic Web Technologies (e.g. RDF, OWL, SKOS, SPARQL)
Project experience in a scientific context
Ability to work independently while at the same time being willing to work in a team
Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team
Excellent knowledge of the German and English language
