Today our student member Laura Jürgensmeier held the defense of her Masters' thesis "AI, Don’t Tell Me - Help Me: Designing Forward Reasoning Systems for Human-Centered Decision Support" on the application of Forward Thinking for supporting people in their decision making processes.

For this, she conducted a literature review to identify the design requirements for AI decision support systems using a forward-reasoning approach. The most relevant requirements were then implemented in a prototype focusing on medical data sharing and evaluated in a user study.
