The Google Summer of Code (GSOC) is a yearly event to involve students to work on successful open source projects. Out of 416 submissions, 137 proposals have been selected for the GSOC. Google provides scholarships for students to contribute to these projects. RIOT, the friendly operating system for the Internet of Things and co-founded by CST group, has been approved as a GSOC mentoring organization. Interested students can apply from March 16th until March 27th.
