With an EXIST start-up scholarship, Philipp Kuck, Hannes Jeltsch and Flavio Holstein started in 2014 the development of an ideal training device for both, professionals and amateurs. Now reached their target: The FU spin-off delivered the first rowing ergometer of a pre-series to the Potsdamer Ruder-Club Germania e.V.  The product will also be presented at the CeBIT computer fair in Hannover (from 22 March to 24 March in Hall 6 at booth C40) as well as at the Cologne sports fair FIBO (from 6th to 9th April in Hall 5.2 at booth D72).

The ergometer already received top marks from Olympic champion Julia Lier, Olympic champion Lauritz Schoof and other successful professionals. "The feeling of rowing is truly unique," enthused Lier after a test. "Finally  the days of the monotonous ergometer training are over," said Schoof. Using sensors and computer controls, the device can simulate the dynamics of rowing under various conditions and analyze and improve the user's technique. In addition to rowing clubs and associations, the target group for the product are also fitness studios, since rowing is considered as a healthy cardio training, because many muscle groups are simultaneously working out.
AUGLETICS offers the opportunity to try out the latest ergometer generation for free for selected rowing clubs and fitness studios. They can register for a rowing machine at www.augletics.de.
