Managing Your Project with Success
April 24, 2018, 09 a.m.
The complex and multifaceted nature of many tasks-from scientific research to publishing projects, assignments at work, or even personal transitions – can present us with a challenge. It’s easy to feel like you’re standing at the base of a mountain, unable to see the peak for the clouds, with more questions than answers in your head. In situations like these, project management tools can be a valuable resource. They help you to reduce complexity and divide overwhelming tasks into small, easy-to-manage steps. In this workshop you’ll learn the basics of project management and apply project management tools to your own doctoral or research projects. Our goal for this workshop is to plan a personal project or part of a project (depending on the scope) per participant.
